FROM JB:
There's nothing like the soft sand and glorious sunshine in Puerto Vallarta but I have to admit, until I saw the sunset I thought my mind was made up. Nightlife is just as beautiful as the daytime. Taking a walk down the malecon and a candlelight dinner it was a beautiful night in Mexico.
FROM JB:
Back at the CasaMagna Marriott, I meet with Puerto Vallarta's Director of Tourism. Carlos Gerard. We walk alongside the pool and chat about the city. While most people don't think of PV as a tourist destination in June, Carlos tells me it is the perfect time to visit.

FROM JB:
The sounds of music are everywhere but when I discover a live band, I can't help but join in on the dancing with the crowd. Apparently this isn't a special event, just something that happens on a regular basis. Count me in!
FROM JB:
It is a tough decision to hit the pool or hit the beach -- which is steps away from the pool, anyway. Nevertheless, I stroll down the beach and take off my sandals so my tired feet can feel the soft sand and the waves splashing at the shore. Spotting fellow Canadians I chat for a brief time before pushy peddlers scare me back to the confines of the resort's pool.
