As we waited for the early-morning adventure to begin at Estero del Salado, there was a visit to see some baby crocodiles that hatched last year. The sanctuary has a family of them that will be observed and will once again join their friends in the wild. But I am promised we will see crocs that aren't much bigger than the babies. Thankfully we don't run into any larger than me.

As our boat slowly makes its way though the nature preserve, you can't help but appreciate the wildlife in all its beauty. The trees and birds are all around and it's surprisingly relaxing (despite how I don't care for birds). The one beautiful thing about this place: no garbage floating in the water. It certainly gives you a new appreciation for nature.
